母親節由來

Mother's Day is an annual holiday celebrated in the United States on the second Sunday in May. 

母親節在美國每年五月的第二個星期日慶祝。

It was established by Anna Jarvis, with the first official Mother's Day celebrated through a service of worship at St. Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia, on May 10, 1908.

母親節由安娜·賈維斯 (Anna Jarvis) 所創立，並於 1908 年 5 月 10 日，在西弗吉尼亞州- 格拉夫頓的聖安德魯衛理公會教堂，舉辦了禮拜活動慶祝了第一個正式的母親節。

🇺🇸美國如何慶祝母親節？

In the U.S., Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday of May. This year, Mother's Day is May 12.

在美國，母親節是五月的第二個星期日。今年的母親節是5月12日。

On Mother's Day, children cook breakfast for their moms, buy them flowers and shower them with small surprises.

在母親節當天，孩子們會為媽媽做早餐，為她們買鮮花，並帶給她們小驚喜。

Popular observances include holiday card and gift giving, churchgoing often accompanied by the distribution of carnations, and family dinners.In the United States, Mother's Day complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day and Grandparents Day.

熱門的慶祝活動像是節日賀卡和贈送禮物、去教堂（通常伴隨著康乃馨的發放）、家庭聚餐，就像是父親節和祖父母節慶祝方式一樣。

In Taiwan, we also celebrate Mother’s Day every year at the second Sunday of May.

在台灣的母親節和美國一樣，訂定在每年五月的第二個禮拜天。

In this day, we will be gathering together for dinner, and sending mom a present with a Mother’s Day card.

在這一天，家人們會一起聚餐，並對媽媽已送禮或寫卡片的方式表達心意。
